Students are required to show their current student ID to get a student discount.  Student fare is currently 75 cents.  A Metrocard (see below) is available that acts like a "debit card" deducting the exact fare each time & can also deduct transfers as needed.  The cards are valid on all Montebello Bus Lines, Norwalk Transit & Foothill currently.  They can be purchased at the Montebello Bus Line office in increments of $5, $10, $20, $30 & $40.  If a card gets low, the students may add a minimum of $5 onto the card on the bus.
Schedules are available in the B&A Office at WHS.

METROCARD
Metrocard is a prepaid fare card that can be used to pay transit fare. Just board the bus, insert the card into the farebox and your exact fare is automatically deducted from the cards prepaid value.  The types of Metrocard include Adult, Senior/Disabled, and Youth.  The Metrocard is good as long as there is balance remaining on the card.  Once the remaining value is low, you can add value to the existing card.
The fare will be based on the status and age of the rider and a valid I.D. card if necessary.  The farebox reader will display your cards remaining value so you will know when it is time to recharge.  Your Metrocard can take you virtually anywhere you need to go.  Use it on any bus within the Metrocard system including Foothill Transit, Montebello Bus Lines, and Norwalk Transit.
