Students interested in participating in school sponsored events or extra curricular activities (Winter Formal, Sadies, Prom, etc.) must clear by routing a clearance form through the Attendance Office and the Business & Activities Office. All requirements from each office must be met before clearance is given and students are allowed to purchase tickets.
Activity permits must be obtained 72 hours in advance of the activity from the activity supervisor, coach, club advisor, or teacher. Permits signed by parents and teachers must be returned to the activity supervisor 24 hours prior to the activity. Teachers have the right to refuse permission for students to leave their class for activities.
All athletes must complete an Athletic Packet, including a physical, insurance and emergency contact information, Code of Conduct, CIF Code of Ethics & Del Rio Sportsmanship agreements. It is also recommended that all athletes purchase an ASB discount card for $45 which supports the athletic programs. This card will get them in FREE to athletic events & substantial discounts to other ASB sponsored events. It also pays for busses, referees/umpires and awards at the end of the season.
ID CARDS/ASB CARDS
Pictures for student ID cards are taken during Program Pickup in August. The fee for lost ID cards is $5.00 for each replacement. Students may buy ASB stickers throughout the year in the Business and Activities Office for a $45.00 fee. The ASB sticker entitles students to discount prices for school events. It is especially important for Seniors to get their ID cards before school opens as they must display the ID card if leaving campus at lunch (with an approved lunch pass).
