COLLEGE ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

The Guidance Office, College Cupboard and Expanded Horizons offices at California High School use the A-G requirements of the University of California and the California State University system when advising students who plan to attend a four-year college upon graduation from high school.  These requirements are comprehensive and meet most major college requirements when passed with a C or higher grade. To be seriously considered for a UC and other highly competitive universities, students must earn grades of B or better.

Please remember that a class must be at the P (College Preparatory level), the H (Honors level) or AP (Advanced Placement) to satisfactorily meet these requirements.  College preparatory courses are designated with a P, Honors level with an H, and Advanced Placement with an "AP" in the course title on schedules, report cards, and transcripts.
