What is Self-Esteem?

When you hear negative comments coming from within, tell yourself to stop.
Try to focus on what's unique and interesting about yourself.
Where Can I Go if I Need Help?
Sometimes low self-esteem are too much to handle by yourself. Teens can sometimes feel depressed, and lose interest in activities or friends. If you're feeling this way, it can help to talk to a trusted adult, family member, or friend.
If you feel you can't turn to anyone you know, call a teen crisis hotline. The most important thing is to get help if you feel like your body image and self-esteem are affecting your life.
