Welcome to the Business & Activities Page!
It is our mission to provide students with a plethora of extra curricular activities that offer a variety of opportunities to get involved at La Serna. We understand that high school is full of choices, and we want our students to be active participants in the paths they choose. We believe that involvement is a wonderful way for students to enjoy a sense of community that high school can be, so we invite them to broaden their educational career by taking part in a wide range of extra curricular experiences! If you have any questions about the activities and programs available at La Serna, we'd love to be of assistance! To contact us, give us a call or click on the blue links below.

ACTIVITY CLEARANCE
Students interested in participating in school sponsored events or extra curricular activities (Winter Formal, Sadies, Prom, etc.) must clear by completing a Dance Contract which requires that students to be cleared from each office before clearance is given and students are allowed to purchase tickets.
ACTIVITY PERMITS
Activity permits must be obtained 72 hours in advance of the activity from the activity supervisor, coach, club advisor, or teacher. Permits signed by parents and teachers must be returned to the activity supervisor 24 hours prior to the activity. Teachers have the right to refuse permission for students to leave their class for activities.
ATHLETIC CLEARANCE
All athletes must complete an Athletic Packet, including a physical, insurance and emergency contact information, Code of Conduct, CIF Code of Ethics & Del Rio Sportsmanship agreements. It is recommended that Student- Athletes purchase an ASB card for $45.00. Why would athletes need to purchase and ASB Card? ASB stands for Associated Student Body. ASB funds are used to provide activities and services which benefit the entire student body. The ASB Card entitles students to the following benefits such as:
µ Free admission to home sporting events (except CIF games)
µ Discounts at Dances
µ Discounts at all School Events
