WELCOME!
The Pioneer High School Activities Program is a strong and continuously growing program. Students who get involved in the Activity Program not only have a lot more fun, meet new people, but also have a much more memorable high school experience. The Activity Program at Pioneer High can be categorized into four areas: Student Government, Athletics, Pep and Performing Groups, and Clubs. Getting involved in activities is very beneficial in many ways. Don't be left out; there is something for everyone at every level!
Besides reaping these benefits, students who participate in school activities tend to have higher grade point averages, better attendance records, and lower drop out rates. Involvement in activities is a good predictor of later success -- in college, a career, and in society. The College Entrance Examination Board has concluded that involvement in activities is an excellent indicator of overall college performance.
Students can purchase an ASB card for $45.00 through the Business Office to recieve incentives such as free admission to home sporting events, discounts on dances and activities and other perks throughout the year. The ASB card also helps purchase athletic awards, varsity letters and emblems.
