What is Expanded Horizons you may ask?

Expanded Horizons is a program for Pioneer High School students that offers a variety of enrichment services  including academic, career, and pre-college advisement.

The Expanded Horizons Staff supervises specially funded programs, such as Title I, Economic Impact Aid (LEP), School Improvement and Migrant Education.

This webpage will acquaint you with many of the pre-college and career planning services offered through the Expanded Horizons Program.

College Advisor Schedule
We have five great college peer advisors that assist our students in making their goals of higher education a reality.  Four represent different outreach programs such as: Cal State Long Beach's ETS, Cal State Long Beach's Cal-SOAP, Cal State Fullertons Titan Choices, and Rio Hondo's Outreach Program.  We also have a general college advisor which oversees her own caseload.  All attend colleges/universities including Cal State Long Beach, Cal State Fullerton, University of La Verne, and Rio Hondo College.  Stop by the Horizons Office and meet with one of the advisors to start setting goals for the future.  Click below to view their schedule.
