Welcome Parents,
Santa Fe High School is committed to ensuring that our Freshmen and Sophomore students who have fallen below a 2.0 grade point average are supported academically. Additionally, it is the Guided Studies Programs goal to build confidence and character with assistance from our core/guided teachers, the guidance office and its counselors, the city of Santa Fe Springs, and most importantly, our parents.
On November 5th, 38 of our Guided Studies students and mentors had the opportunity to attend UCLA's "I'm Going to College" festivities at the Rose Bowl and then attend the game against the Arizona State Sun Devils. The day was a huge success, many of our students enjoyed face painting and cheering for the Bruins. The game ended in a Bruins win against the ranked Sun Devils. Each quarter the Guided Studies program celebrates students who have achieved an improvement in grades with a "Pizza Incentive Party," here are the pictures from the Quarter 1 Party:
