ATHLETIC PACKETS
Every athlete must fill out and complete an Athletic Packet (available on the counter in the B&A Office) before practice begins for any sport. The Athletic Packet includes the following material:
Cover Sheet - Have you ever attended another high school?
WHS Athletic Code of Conduct (includes CIF Athlete's Code of ethics, Del Rio League Sportsmanship Policy, & Agreement Regarding Use of Steroids)
Physical Form - If you do not have a doctor, low cost physicals may be obtained for $20 at the Uptown Wellness Center: 7354 Painter Ave., Whittier, CA 90602 (corner of Mar Vista & Painter - across from the court house). 562-789-1999. All physicals must be dated after May 1 for the upcoming school year. They also must have the doctor's signature and stamp on the front of the card and a parent's signature on the back.
ASB Card Highly Recommended - You can purchase this in the B&A Office for $45. The fee is used to pay for bus transportation, tournaments, uniforms, officials, and equipment. The ASB Card also allows admittance to all Football, Basketball, Wrestling, & Volleyball games for FREE, discounts to dances, and other school events.
Students can turn in their completed Athletic Packet to be cleared in the Business & Activities Office. All students must have their current student ID card.
