Associated Student Body members from each Whittier Union high school bonded over tacos, cookies, games and gifts during the annual ASB Night recently held in the Sierra Gymnasium. The evening was an opportunity for the student leaders to get to know one another better, share ideas, build district unity, and just have fun. The event also gave ASB students a chance to meet the Board of Trustees over dinner and attend a Board meeting to learn a little bit about how the district is governed by its elected representatives. Students packed the Board meeting room and each one had the opportunity to introduce him or herself to the Board and those in the audience. It was a high-energy evening that all participants enjoyed.
