Home- Darla Breiling, M.A.

Welcome to my page!

I graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in History. After graduating from college, I worked at a law firm in Downtown Los Angeles and quickly realized 1) I did not like LA traffic and 2) office work was not for me. I returned to school and I earned my multiple subject teaching credential from Cal State LA. I was a substitute teacher and I had a weeklong assignment in an SDC-Moderate/Severe classroom. After that assignment, I enrolled at Cal State Dominguez Hills and earned my special education credential for moderate/severe disabilities and master's degree. After a friend invited me to attend a class with her, I ended up enrolling and completing the administrative credential from Cal Poly Pomona.

I have been fortunate enough to work in special education from more than 10 years and I love what I do. I consider myself a lifelong learner and advocate for my students.
