National Library Service (NLS) is a free braille and talking book library service for people with temporary or permanent low vision, blindness, or a physical, perceptual, or reading disability that prevents them from using regular print materials.

This is a free reading service for the blind, powered by volunteers and Internet collaboration. It allows blind and low-vision people to have printed documents read to them over the phone. All you need is a phone line and a fax machine (no computer is required.)

The Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (TSBVI) serves as a special public school in the continuum of statewide placements for students who have a visual impairment. It is also a resource to parents of these children and professionals who serve them.
