on behalf of all of our Oasis students their families just want to thank both the Whittier Host Lions Club and also the Credit Union of Southern California for all they've done for our students and their families and they've given them Futures they've given him is giving them hope both the Lions Club and the crazy Southern California came to us we did not go out to the list of scholarships from the Knick came to us and said what can we do the Lions Club for many years has as contributed choices and done so so much for us now the Lions Club has expanded that just require these 19 Heart of a Lion scholarships the Credit Union of Southern California my goodness they've made several very very generous donations to Oasis be created an amazing Endowment for Oasis to continue on the support for many many years and both Alliance and the credit union have done something it's not just the financial things they've done it they've been a bald will you call our Oasis Haven program for older or giving them credibly valuable opportunities in panel presentation sharing their their truth and their wisdom with our students in mock interviews for every student is given an opportunity to provide an application and resume and be interviewed and immediate feedback on what's going on and showering at Uncle Tony's those things plus all the other generous things you've done our life changing to our students we seen this transformation because of that the majority of our students in Oasis are going on to further their age and that would never happen without you really want to thank both organizations you know this is a crucial time every year for kids to try to pull together some funding to go to school and make their dreams come true and you know we've got high percentage of kids who look at that task of getting into college is being pretty daunting and then the the task of trying to pay for it is being almost impossible a time so I really appreciate your willingness to support our kids in that way and help them get a little closer making it happen I just want to say it's been an incredible journey and experience that gifted time has been extremely valuable to our students on providing the opportunity on the classrooms that they when they leave us can see themselves have and how they can fit into the community in this world and have some hope I stayed in the eyes of you when you're all at our school and I and I see it in the eyes of the kids in the difference it makes them with their parents still my heart soars I want to thank you for what a difference you've made in the life so many people I just want to echo on behalf of my colleagues and find your high school that the gift and the scholarship money that you guys have provided for kids to believe in themselves they have them to long to community so thank you for helping my kids to become something better from the bottom of my heart for my Titans thank you in high school I want to offer our thanks and appreciation how to both organization I'll just knowing that both organizations have stepped up to its really support kids time is really valuable I know that we talk all the time about we do this for the kids then so when our conversations can do this at this time it really is kind show their true colors and so for that I am very thankful and I know that our programs and our students are as well thank you for your generosity I think it's so important with the uncertain times wheel are your kids have a lot of questions about how they fit into the world right now and I think it's so important for them to see that the community has their backs and heads and so I think the steps that you take whether it's scholarship money or supporting extracurriculars it yes it's incredibly helpful for those programs in those students that I just think it's been such a great message about what the greater Whittier Community does for people and and I think that's something our kids are going to take the heart and if they move forward they'll pay it forward and so I appreciate you for helping to reinforce that lesson I think that's just cute so thank you for doing it I really appreciate it we love what you're doing the thanks really go to you you're the hero in this time of Crisis I can't imagine the changes you've had to make in your going to have to make we're here with you let us know where else we can help financially or with our time but we're going to find joy in the journey with you and I think when you please cusocal you're going to find some other good things that come out and I think the same holds true for you so thank you Chris for leading the way and Eric for for being right there with us and thank you for being on the phone today and giving us the opportunity you deserve you it's really an honor we're all about giving back to the community and we're about giving back to Whittier that's who we want to help and that's what I run fax and that's what I'm asking is because we're all about donate your time and money back into the woods humidity so it's been an honor for us that's our leadership because we have a lot of fun but we get a lot of things done. Thank you for letting us partner with you guys
