Cal High Choir Performs at Walt Disney Concert Hal

The California High School Chamber Choir was among the more than 1,000 Southland students selected to perform in the Los Angeles Master Chorale’s Annual High School Choir Festival on May 3 at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

The Los Angeles Master Chorale has proudly presented its annual High School Choir Festival since 1989, offering students a chance to deepen their exposure and understanding of the choral art through a year-long experience leading up to the celebratory Festival Day.

The Cal High choral group gave pop-up performances on the main staircase of the concert hall on Grand Avenue.

The main event is the festival concert, in which Cal High students Delilah Gonzalez, Fernando De la Cruz, Gaby Palaviccini and Luke Lopez were selected to participate in the festival honor choir.

Students were also treated to a performance by the Los Angeles Master Chorale Chamber Ensemble.l
