Santa Fe High School will celebrate approximately 512 Chieftains at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 4 at the Dick Torres Memorial Stadium, 10800 Benavon St., Whittier.
Paola Ruiz will lead the Class of 2019 as valedictorian and Hope Forseberg and Leah Kim will serve as this year's salutatorians.
Paola plans to major in political science at Stanford University. Her goal is to attend law school and become an immigration attorney.
Hope plans to study animal science at UC Davis, with the goal of becoming a veterinarian. Leah will study bioengineering at UCLA. Her goal is to work for a pharmaceutical company or develop medical tools for obstetricians or gynecologists.
