The Whittier Adult School will take over the Sierra Education Center gymnasium on Wednesday, May 29 to recognize 100 students for their success.
The Adult School will hold a Student Recognition and Awards Ceremony at 6 p.m. for students, their families and friends at 9401 Painter Ave., Whittier.
The school’s six departments (English as a Second Language, Adult Basic Education, High School Equivalency, High School Diploma, Career Technical Education and Citizenship) will each honor two students from each class (day and evening).
The school’s ASB will also award $100 scholarships to 12 outstanding students.
The Adult School's graduation ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. Monday, June 3 at the Vic Lopez Auditorium, 12417 Philadelphia St., Whittier.
