Our curbside meal service is now open from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday – Thursday. All Friday and Supper weekend meals will be served in the Thursday meal bag.

Let me begin by thanking you for your patience and support during these difficult times. We remain committed to educating our students in a safe environment and keeping you updated on where we currently stand so our families can make necessary plans.

2021-2022 Open Enrollment Has Ended

Open Enrollment for the Whittier Union High School District for the 2021-2022 school year will start on January 25, 2021 and end on February 5, 2021 (2 weeks). This online process is for students who live in the Whittier Union High School District attendance area and want to attend a school within the district other than their school of residence. Please be advised that our Food and Nutrition Services will shut down beginning Friday, Dec. 18. Meal Distribution will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 5.

Please be advised that our Food and Nutrition Services will shut down for winter break after Thursday, Dec. 17. On that last day, we will distribute additional meals, including two breakfast meals, two lunch meals and four suppers.

La Serna High School will safely reopen to staff and community food distribution on Monday, Dec. 7. Class instruction continues to be provided via distance learning.

On Nov. 30, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health directed Whittier Union to close La Serna High School for two weeks after the District reported six cases of COVID-19 involving individuals who had been on the campus.
