About Us

Originated in 2006, the Student Well-Being Program has a successful history of increasing and attending to the socio-emotional needs of students in the Whittier Union High School District.  It has received recognition from several awards, including the 2013 California School Boards Association Golden Bell Award.

The goals of the Student Well-Being Program are:
    • Address mental health issues impairing student health and wellness
    • Increase student academic achievement 
    • Provide support to school staff to help students succeed
    • Provide support to families to help their children succeed
