Measure AA School Bond Overview

In November 2020, voters in the Whittier Union High School District approved Measure AA, a $183.5 million bond measure designed to upgrade and repair aging school facilities.  Measure AA funds will go towards renovating outdated classrooms, upgrading electrical and plumbing systems, improving accessibility, replacing leaky roofs, enhancing student safety and security systems, upgrading career training facilities, and increasing energy efficiency. To ensure transparency and accountability, Measure AA requires independent citizen oversight and annual audits of spending. Passage of the bond measure allows the Whittier Union High School District to modernize and upgrade its campuses to support student learning with 21st-century facilities.
