support during the hours of 7:30am-4pm, Monday-Friday. The use of our Web Help Desk
(work order system) is HIGHLY encouraged for most requests, but for critical issues do not hesitate to call us ASAP. Please note that all core systems (e.g., email, network, web servers, server rooms) are monitored by the IT staff 24/7/365.
Welcome to the Whittier Union High School District's Information Technology Department webpage. Who is IT? We’re the ones who get IT done. You may know us by our work installing and supporting computers, laptops, tablets, District email, wireless internet, document cameras, pole vault, and so much more. Basically, if it plugs into a wall (and doesn’t make food), we’ve got our hands in it. Our motto, like the district motto, is “Whatever IT takes.” That means providing students and staff with innovative, cutting-edge tools in a stable and reliable environment and superior support to keep it all running smoothly.
The Information Technology department is a service organization whose purpose is to provide technology support for faculty, staff, and students located in the Whittier Union High School District. The staff of IT dept. strive for satisfied clientele and the involvement of faculty and staff in the evolution of Information Technology. The key phrases which describe the department are: keep the equipment and the networks running, replace and upgrade equipment on a regular basis, train the users to leverage the use of both new and existing technologies so they can benefit from the District’s investment in technology and innovate constantly to increase efficiency and effectiveness at all levels of service.
Scheduled Network Maintenance
This is a friendly reminder every Thursday night starting at 4:00 PM there is scheduled network maintenance. Network resources will be limited and/or unavailable during this time. We advise that you please plan your work accordingly.
