General requirements for each of the major document types are described below and in the renewal chart following.
Preliminary Credentials:
- Preliminary Credentials, in most cases, must be cleared through a college/university, BTSA/Induction Program, or District (for Preliminary credentials based on Out-of-State programs). If you are not sure how to clear your Preliminary Credential, please call 562-698-8121, ext: 1036 or e-mail [email protected]
Clear Credentials:
- Professional clear credentials are the documents currently issued to individuals who have met all education and program requirements for the credential being issued. Five year renewal
- Renew on-line only at www.ctc.ca.gov (Please utilize Google Chrome or Firefox when accessing CTC.)
Life Credentials:
